We are a domiciliary care company, providing personal care in people’s homes, based in Mid Suffolk, serving Mid Suffolk, Bury St Edmunds, Felixstowe and surrounding villages. We are dedicated to providing the highest levels of care and are looking for like-minded people to join our team.

Our ideal candidate

We are looking for someone who is personable and caring, thoughtful and interested in others well-being.  You must be professional and discreet, reliability is a must.  Experience in care would be great but not essential.  We will provide all relevant training and support to ensure you meet our high standards, we will also support you in gaining your NVQ level 2 in health and social care.  You must have high standards and want to make a positive difference to someone’s life.

What’s involved?

First and foremost our care workers need to be flexible.

The work at My Care at Home can be quite varied, from personal care to light housework and helping people do their shopping or walk the dog. Our busiest periods are at breakfast. This can be from as early as 7 in the morning. We then have appointments for lunch, dinner and bedtime, so you would need to be free at some of those times. You must also have a car to get to and from appointments as well as business class insurance. Sometimes our clients require someone to stay with them over night. If you are able to work some of those hours on a regular basis we will be able to find the work for you.
