Happy Christmas from My Care at Home to all our clients and staff who provide home care around Stowmarket and the wider Suffolk area.
Do you know someone who will be spending Christmas alone this year, who may be vulnerable and lonely? My Care at Home want to make a positive difference to our clients lives. As well as providing personal care in your own home, we can also provide companionship and peace of mind to families who are unable to catch up with their families as often as they would like.
Loneliness comes in many forms, from loss of companionship from a spouse, relative or friend due to bereavement, retirement, moved away or ill health. We can all feel lonely from time to time, but some people are more vulnerable due to their own ill health which can sometimes lead to feeling isolated in your own home. Family Carers can also feel lonely and isolated when they are responsible for looking after someone on a daily basis and don’t get any time for themselves.
We offer respite care so that family carers can take a break knowing their relatives are in good hands. Our home care workers are on hand whenever you need their support, from as little as an hour a couple of times a week right through to an overnight stay or longer providing respite care when needed. We can even support you at family events or on days out to Felixstowe or Aldeburgh so you can relax and enjoy the day knowing you have the support you need.
Sometimes it’s just companionship that you need, well we can offer that too. Our home care workers will enjoy spending time with you, offering companionship, conversation and reminiscing or accompanying you. If you wanted to go shopping in Stowmarket or to visit family and friends in Felixstowe, our services extends across Suffolk. Speak to us about Stowmarket care or anywhere across Suffolk and we will arrange for one of our home care workers to accompany you.
